The official trailer for "American Horror Story: Delicate Part One" is here.
But in true "AHS" fashion, sinister things lie ahead in the trailer, as tense and chilling scenes are interspersed with clips of Roberts' character's dreams of motherhood.
The highly anticipated upcoming season is being compared to the classic 1968 psychological thriller "Rosemary's baby," and centers on a woman in the public eye who is convinced darker forces are sabotaging her pregnancy journey.
In April, The Hollywood Reporter reported that the upcoming season of the acclaimed horror anthology would be based on Danielle Valentine's novel "Delicate Condition," which was released in August.
A synopsis for the novel says it centers around a character named Anna Alcott, an Indie actress who is desperate to have a family, but begins to suspect that someone is going to great lengths to make sure that never happens.
The cast for "AHS: Delicate" also includes "Pose" star Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, "Hellraiser" star Odessa A'zion, "Only Murders in the Building" actress Cara Delevingne and "AHS" alum Billie Lourd.
"American Horror Story: Delicate Part One" will premiere Sept. 20 on FX and will stream on Hulu.
Disney is the parent company of FX, Hulu, ABC News and "Good Morning America."
