Great-great-great grandma with 173 family members celebrates 100th birthday

A North Carolina woman who has 88 great-grandchildren just celebrated turning 100 years old.

Julia Lee Kelley of Franklinton, has five children, 30 grandchildren, 88 great grandchildren, 49 great great grandchildren and one great-great-great grandchild, ABC11 WTVD in Raleigh reported.

Family members Kelley Oakley and Kimberley Williams filmed video of the drive-thru birthday parade held for the centenarian on Aug. 8.

Loved ones danced, honked their horns and dropped off gifts to Kelley at a safe distance.

The family said they usually hold an annual reunion during Kelley's birthday but decided on a birthday parade instead.

In the video, Kelley thanked everyone for showing up and watching the party on Facebook Live.
