If you give a toddler a bag of ballpark popcorn, he's going to eat it face-first with abandon.

At least, that was the case for one small Seattle Mariners fan who went viral after getting his hands on a large cellophane bag of popcorn, shoveling the salty snack directly into his mouth.

A young baseball fan is seen eating popcorn at a Seattle Mariners game in a video shared on X by MLB on Aug. 24, 2025.

Major League Baseball posted a video of the toddler -- who was living his best game-day dreams sitting behind the dugout at T-Mobile Park -- on Sunday, writing on X, "No chance you had a better day than this kid."

Fans loved the candid moment caught on camera, flooding feeds with supportive sentiments for the boy's enthusiastic eating skills.

Mariners star catcher Cal Raleigh sets new single season hit record

The Mariners treated fans to a solid home game on Sunday, with an 11-4 win over the Athletics. Mariners star Cal Raleigh also hit his 49th home run that day, breaking Salvador Perez's record for the most home runs by a catcher in an MLB season.

Raleigh, the All-Star power hitter who won the 2025 Home Run Derby last month, knocked another dinger less than 24 hours later in the first inning of Monday night's game, launching a 419-footer into the second deck at T-Mobile Park off San Diego Padres pitcher JP Sears to top that record.

"It doesn't seem real," Raleigh said on Monday. "I mean, 50 home runs, it's kind of a crazy number to think of ... I thought I was a cool player when I hit five when I was young in high school or something. You hit five, you had all this power in the world. So it's just crazy."
