During the day, Adventure Park at Long Island features zip line and high ropes courses for guests age 7 and up in levels ranging from beginner to adventurer.

But twice a month, it’s the adults’ time to play.

That’s because Adventure Park hosts “Keep It Lit,” a special adults-only, after-hours zip line party.

After the sun sets, the trees are illuminated with party lights and a DJ blasts some tunes. Best of all, there’s a glow-in-the-dark course perfectly designed to challenge and bond with your buddies.

Our team visited Adventure Park at Long Island for the first “Keep It Lit” of the summer and ventured on the Grand Rapids course, the park’s most challenging zip line attraction. It consisted of a combination of zip lines and rope bridges. Although the course was challenging, it was fun and a great team bonding experience.

"We get a lot of positive feedback from climbers,” Angela Reyes, a host and guide at Adventure Park at Long Island, told “Good Morning America."

"We have a lot of opportunities here to challenge yourself and to overcome any fears or anxieties you may have…It’s just one step at a time and when [the climbers are] done, they’re like, 'Wow! Look what I can do!'"

"It’s just such a great experience that we can all be a part of," she said.

For those who would rather keep their feet on the ground, there’s a campfire and snack bar.

In addition to “Keep It Lit,” the park offers “Glow In the Park,” an after-hours, glow-in-the-dark party for all ages. Or, guests can come back during the day to fly through the trees and scope out some scenery while trying out different rope ladders, swinging platforms and more.
