Disney+ and Swimply are teaming up to give fans a way to cool down and dive into an immersive movie experience unlike any other.

The streaming service and the pioneering pool-sharing platform announced Monday that they are combining forces to create the first-ever Disney+ Dive-In Theater experiences.

The experiences will transform three private swimming pools in Los Angeles into recreations of three classic films available to view on Disney+ and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers: "Honey I Shrunk the Kids," "Camp Rock" and "Alien."

Guests will not only be able to watch a movie while they swim, but also take part in themed photo ops and interactive experiences, according to Disney+ and Swimply.

At the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" experience, for example, guests will enter through a "shrink ray" laser tunnel and emerge to giant-sized features, like a huge popcorn box and a cereal bowl swimming pool.

"The Disney+ Dive-In Theater allows fans to connect with their favorite films in a way they've never been able to before," Samantha Rosenberg, executive vice president of marketing for Disney+, said in a statement Monday. "Following the success of our Disney+ Throwback Experience earlier this summer, we're seeing audiences crave real-world experiences that let them step into the stories they love."
