In the song, Shakira sings about the love she has for her two sons.

In the lyrics, which were translated from Spanish to English, Shakira begins by singing, \"You've shown me that love isn't a scam and when it's real it never ends.\"

She goes on to sing, \"All I want is your happiness and to be with you/ Your smile is my weakness/ Loving you serves as an anesthetic to the pain/ it makes me feel better/ I'm here for whatever you need and you came to complete what I am.\"

Shakira shares her two sons with her ex, former football player Gerard Picqué. The former couple met on the set of the singer's \"Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)\" music video in 2010. They announced their split in June 2022.

In November 2022, Shakira and Picqué reached a custody agreement regarding their children.

Shakira opened up to Elle about her \"tough split\" from Picqué in September 2022, saying that it has been \"tough not only for me, but also for my kids.\"

She called it her \"number one mission in life\" to protect her kids.
