Little boy surprised by dad returning home from deployment

A father in Washington gave his young son the biggest homecoming surprise, and it was all caught on camera.

The boy is seen playing in the water when his dad, a U.S. Navy service member, walks onto a pier behind the child.

A voice off-camera suggests the boy turn around while the dad yells out, "Hey! What are you doing?"

When the young boy realizes who is calling to him, he shouts a heartwarming "Daddy!" before running out of the water toward his waiting father.

The father-son duo then shares a warm hug that neither of them will soon forget.
