2019 Met Gala manicures that are absolutely stunning

Over-the-top looks took over the pink carpet for this year's Met Gala, in which the theme was "Camp: Notes on Fashion."

But it wasn't only the outfits that caught people's eyes -- the nails did, too.

Elle Fanning showed up with an extra-accessorized manicure, for example, while Halsey rocked stunning spiked red nails.

Elle Fanning

We are fangirling over Fanning's embellished nails. Celebrity manicurist Mar y Sol Inzerillo said in a statement, "Elle is the definition of camp. She wanted an expressive, bold look, and we went for it."

"We started with Essie's strike a rose, a neon hot pink with a demi-matte finish from the new summer 2019 collection. Then, each almond-shaped nail was pierced and adorned with fun vintage charms, from french fries to Bubble Yum and more!"

Constance Wu

Wu totally woo'd us with a classy crystallized Swarovski manicure look created by nail artist Kim Troung.

Cardi B

While Cardi B's elongated feathered gown might have been among the most talked about at the Met Gala, her blinged out Swarovski crystal nails were a stunning sight to see as well.

Halsey

Halsey's stiletto-shaped nails were a perfect match for her warrior princess-inspired look.

Katie Holmes

Holmes had pretty purple nail art created using Defy & Inspire nail polish.
