Ann Morrow Johnson, the executive producer for Walt Disney Imagineering, says this experience is unlike any other -- where guests will be invited to live aboard a starship for two days and two nights as they become the heroes of their own “Star Wars” adventure.

Guests will arrive at the Galactic Starcruiser terminal where they will be ushered into a watch pod, which will simulate being blasted into space to arrive at the Halcyon, where guests will stay.

Cabins will have sleeping accommodations that include bunk beds like in the films, with a window that has a view of outer space.

“Everything in the spaceship wants to reinforce that feeling of you’re on a Starcruiser in a galaxy far, far away,” said Johnson.

For fun, Johnson says there are activities for the whole entire family to enjoy, such as training sessions on how to wield lightsabers, tours of the bridge of the ship where the navigation systems and defense systems are, and even an excursion to visit Black Spire Outpost in Galaxy’s Edge, where guests will be transported by an exclusive transport.

“If you’re a guest coming to Star Wars Galactic Starcruiser, you’re going to be a part of a story and live out your own Star Wars experience,” said Morrow.
