It’s official! Jamie Ding is now a top-five consecutive "Jeopardy!" winner, after winning for a 23rd time on Tuesday night’s episode, according to a chart shared on Facebook by the long-running TV game show.

In the Final Jeopardy round, Ding incorrectly answered "What is 'How to Win Friends and Influence People'?" to the 20th century nonfiction clue: "'Stop fuming and fretting'" & "'I don't believe in defeat'" are chapters 6 & 8 in this book."

The correct answer was "What is 'The Power of Positive Thinking'," but because Ding only wagered $2,000, he came out on top against fellow contestant Iain Carpenter. The third contestant, Stephanie Rice-Hoffner, didn't get to participate in the Final Jeopardy round after ending the regular Jeopardy round with a minus-$800 total.

Ding earned another $16,400 with his victory Tuesday, bringing his grand total winnings so far to $644,000.

Ding now ties with 2022 contestant Mattea Roach for the No. 5 spot on the list of consecutive "Jeopardy!" winners.

The top four consecutive winners are former contestant-turned-host Ken Jennings, with 74 games in 2004; Amy Schneider, who won 40 games in 2022; 2021 contestant Matt Amodio, in third place with 38 consecutive wins; and James Holzhauer, who won 32 consecutive games in 2018.

"It's amazing. It's wild," Ding said after securing his 21st straight win on Friday night's episode.

"Maybe winning 10 games was a fluke, but having two 10-game flukes, that seems ... that would be really, really fluky. So, yeah, it feels great," Ding added.
