Jennifer Lopez transforms into an assassin in the action-packed trailer for her forthcoming movie "The Mother."

The sneak peek of the Netflix film starts with Lopez's character shortly after she gives birth. An FBI agent informs her she has to give up her daughter and go on the run, lest the bad guys whose operation Lopez's assassin character disrupted find them both.

Eventually, the baddies catch up with her now-tween daughter (Lucy Paez), forcing Lopez's character out of hiding to find her and hunt her abductors down.
