Model walks Victoria's Secret runway while pregnant: Photos
Jasmine Tookes is bringing her pregnancy into the spotlight.
The model, who is currently expecting her second child, opened the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Wednesday, showing off her pregnancy in a gold netted dress with white jewels and an oversized, structured shell ornamentation.
Tookes strutted the runway with hands on her hips, pausing and posing on the catwalk while cradling her belly before continuing her walk.
Victoria's Secret reacted to the walk on Instagram, sharing a video and writing in the caption, "Raise your hand if you're still recovering from @jastookes opening."
Tookes took to Instagram as well on Wednesday, writing in a story post, "Omg what just happened," before sharing videos from the event.
In her outing Wednesday night, Tookes became the first pregnant woman and the second Black model ever to open the Victoria's Secret show, the company confirmed.
Tookes, who is married to business executive Juan David Borrero and already shares a 2-year-old daughter with him, told Vogue in July that a second pregnancy was always part of her plan.
"Having another baby was something that my husband and I always wanted to do. It was just a matter of timing and when it made sense," she said at the time.
She also said that displaying her pregnancy was something she was proud of.
"Your body is doing one of the most incredible things, which is growing life," she told Vogue. "I always remind myself that I deserve grace and love and just to be really happy during this time."
