The "Dancing with the Stars" pros looked sharp in their all-black outfits Saturday for the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner at SLS Hotel in Los Angeles, proceeds from which help provide lifesaving treatment to wildlife in Australia, and "more boots-on-the-ground to combat poaching and the illegal wildlife trade" across the globe, according to the event's website.
"Date night with the most beautiful lady," Chmerkovskiy captioned an Instagram post of their looks for the evening. "Supporting a beautiful family on a mission to save wildlife. I can't be more proud and grateful."
Bindi Irwin, who attended the event with mom Terri Irwin and brother Robert Irwin, took to the comments section, writing, "We love you both. Thank you for being part of this night 💚 It was so lovely to see you!"
In a post on her Instagram story, Bindi Irwin shared a photo of the "DWTS" couple and her family. "@valentin @jennajohnson We love you!" she wrote. "Congratulations on becoming incredible parents."
Chmerkovskiy and Johnson welcomed their first child together, a son named Rome, in January.
