Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' shows off new second nose piercing
Honey Boo Boo has a hot new piercing.
Alana Thompson, best known for her "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" show nickname, posted a video where she's seen with not one, but two nose piercings.
For about a year prior to her recent video, she was seen in lots of photos wearing one nose ring. But now, the 16-year-old entrepreneur has jewel studs piercing through both nostrils.
While several of her followers were quick to point out the double piercings, Thompson made no mention of it as she promoted new merchandise being sold on her website.
After listening to her fans, she was inspired to release new T-shirts, saying, "I think you're really gonna love these designs."
She continued, "I made them myself, so they're my favorite designs. I will have more in the future, but for right now, this is what we have and I think you guys are really gonna love them."
In addition to Thompson's nose piercings, she's also seen wearing a ring on her ring finger that many people have speculated as being an engagement ring from her boyfriend Dralin Carswell.
However, the 16-year-old's rep confirmed to Page Six that Thompson is not engaged and its simply "just a ring."
Last year, the former "Toddlers and Tiaras" star was photographed by Teen Vogue in a way most people had never seen her before. She is all grown up and told the publication she'd prefer for people to start calling her by her real name.
"My mama did not name me Honey Boo Boo. My name is Alana," said Thompson.
She later added, "I guess people still expect me to be little Honey Boo Boo and I'm not anymore. Just because I'm from the South, people expect me to be all country bumpkin, out riding four-wheelers all the time, but that's not really how it is."
She continued, "But I do not care. As long as I like myself, I'm good."
