It's a new year, and Diane von Furstenberg is bringing it in with an empowering message.
The legendary fashion designer posted a selfie-style photo wearing a green swimsuit and little-to-no makeup along with a caption asking fans, "Am I crazy to post this?"
She continued, "Own your age ...it's proof you have lived. Love to everyone."
Since posting, Furstenberg's swimsuit selfie has captured the attention and likes of more than 36,000 people.
"You aren't crazy at all please don't think so," one Instagrammer commented. "You are real and human. Thank you for sharing this."
Another chimed in saying, "Your honesty is one of your finest characteristics."
